The Duke sponsors a Tournament challenge

So here's the deal, I'm looking to become a pro-caster and YouTuber but unfortunately we live in a world where there are plenty of those.  So I'm putting out a challenge for everyone.


So this is what's up: I will sponsor a tournament for the players of Utah where I will personally chip in a $100 prize pool, and this can further be beefed up with donations from other players or anyone else who would like to sponsor this tourney.  Now in order for me to sponsor this, I need some things from you guys. If you guys meet some conditions, this tournament is on.  You guys must meet at least one of these, although all of them would be preferred.

1.  At least one Monday Night Arena event has to reach 50 viewers live, and not just for like ten minutes, we are talking at least most of the broadcast.

2.  My YouTube page has to reach 100 subscribers.

3.  My YouTube videos must reach 2,000 total views.

So none of these are outrageously difficult goals to meet, I'm just trying to better promote myself, Starcraft and Utah in general.  So let's talk a little bit more about this tournament.

-64 players
-Open enrollment - any league can enter
-4 brackets of 16 players -- single elimination
-Bo3 until Final 8
-Final 8 and 4 are Bo5
-3rd place match is Bo5
-Final match is Bo7
-Final 8 will be streamed live on my channel
-All other matches will be posted as replays, I will try and cast the best games of the week on my YouTube channel
-Free to enter

Prize Pool (tentative) -- As a note, this is just my contribution to the prize pool and this is bound to change based on other sponsors and individual donations

1st Place: $50 (or 50% of total prize pool)
2nd Place: $35 (or 35% of total prize pool)
3rd Place: $15 (or 15% of total prize pool)

In the coming weeks as I am designing and putting together this massive tournament I will have more information as how to sign up, what the schedule will be like and so forth.

Now, how can you help me promote my stuff?  Well, it's very simple really.  Post it on Facebook whenever MNA goes live, or even when I post a video to YouTube.  You can also tweet about it or have people follow me @jeremytarshis so that others can get subscribed to my updates.

Additionally I will need many people to help set this up.  As I can't be in every match every week I will need match officials to supervise matches and to give me final scores so we can determine who advances.  If you wish to step up and be a match official please inform me!
